What does therapy involve?

Anger is a common feeling, but it can be easy to become overwhelmed by when you don’t know how to deal with it. It’s important to remember that typically anger itself is not a problem. It is how we manage it and what we do when we are angry that can become the challenge.

Anger management involves learning how to control your anger and make positive changes in your life. It can involve recognising the things that trigger your anger, like certain people or places, the warning signs of feeling angry, and then being able to take action to avoid harming yourself or others.

I had previously seen several counsellors prior to working with [Swift Psychology]. What I liked about this approach was it helped me to understand why I was becoming irritable, but also gave me practical skills and tools to help me calm down when I needed to. – Verified Client Review

⦿ Identifying negative patterns of thoughts that create or maintain anger
