Introduction

Laura is a friendly and knowledgeable Cognitive Behavioural Therapist helping clients find solutions to their challenges. Laura has extensive experience and works with a range of mental health difficulties for children, adolescents and adults.

During Laura’s career, she has successfully worked with a variety of individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, obsessive compulsive disorders, trauma, specific phobias and eating disorders.

After gaining her British Psychological Society accredited   qualification in psychology and counselling, Laura went on to gain her accredited post-graduate diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy at the University of Derby.

Laura has most recently worked within an IAPT NHS service, and following this a specialist service for those involved in traumatic situations.

Laura holds experience in primary and residential care settings, including drug and alcohol services, eating disorder inpatient care, psychiatric intensive care units and CAMHS secure units across the Midlands.

  • Certificate in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Eating Disorders
